People used to think showers were less wasteful than tub baths..... but consider many of us spend 10 - 20 minutes in the shower.  Since most showers pour out between 5 and 10 gallons per minute, that adds up in a hurry.  A partially filled tub uses less water than a long shower, a short shower uses less than a full tub.  Time yourself next time you're in the shower.....

The Oak Bluffs Water District will be billing in the month of July.

We now offer online bill payments through the secure system of UnipayGold, a very reputable company.  You will be able to pay online with electronic checking or credit card. Online checking will be a free transaction,  credit card payments will incur a small transaction fee.  You will be able to check you account and view all charges and payments before you make any transaction, and you will receive a notification of your payment.

Customers will be able to still drop off checks or pay at our office.
