About The Oak Bluffs Water District
The Oak Bluffs Water District is a non-profit, locally controlled public water system.
The Massachusetts legislature created the District in 1991 to operate as a self-supporting
unit of local government. Rates are set by the Water Commissioners to cover the cost of
delivering a product which meets federal and state guidelines under the Safe Drinking Water Act.
