About The Oak Bluffs Water District
The Oak Bluffs Water District is a non-profit, locally controlled public water system. The District was created by Massachusetts legislature in 1991 to operate as a self-supporting unit of local government. Rates are set by the Water Commissioners to cover the cost of delivering a product which meets federal and state guidelines under the Safe Drinking Water Act. Policy is also set by the Water District Commissioners.
A public meeting will be held on March 9th at 4:30 pm at the Water District’s Office at 96 Vineyard Ave, Oak Bluffs. Customers are encourage to attend, but must call 48 hours in advance to be on the agenda.
